"The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever. My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest, though hail flattens the forest and the city is leveled completely." Isa. 32:17-19.
The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth. Exodus 34:6.
The Lord is soon to come. The angels are holding the four winds, in order that God's people may do their long-neglected work. We are not half awake to what might be done in our world....
"You only have I chosen of all the families of the earth....Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so? Does a lion roar in the thicket when he has no prey?... When a trumpet sounds in a city do not the people tremble? When disaster comes to a city, has not the Lord caused it? Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets. The lion has roared – who will not fear? The Sovereign Lord has spoken -- who can but prophesy?" Amos 3:2-8.
